Company Profile
In 1916, Jack Callinan staked mineral claims in present day Flin Flon, Manitoba. Trenching and drilling conducted from 1927 to 1929 defined and began the Callinan Mine which operated until the massive, high grade 777 mine was discovered adjacent to it and put in to production in 2004. Callinan's interest in the 777 mine is by far their most tangible and valuable asset. It is a source of increasing revenue that is expected to last until 2019. The company also owns a royalty interest in the ground surrounding the mine. This area potentially hosts other large VMS deposits and is currently being explored by its operator.
The properties that Callinan has chosen for exploration have been selected because they have the potential to host large, high grade deposits. The projects' locations near existing mining infrastructure gives our company a head start towards feasibility, even in times of low metal prices.
The governments of Manitoba and British Columbia are both very encouraging and accommodating of mining and exploration companies.
An investment in Callinan is a good way to take advantage of rising base metal and gold prices. Our management has a long track record of establishing producing resources in the Province of Manitoba, and around the world. Currently, the Company draws interest from their royalty interests and is in the process of exploring several very promising areas.
